home maintenance tip
Fall Home Maintenance Tip: Check Your Gutters As leaves begin to fall, it’s crucial to keep your gutters clear to prevent clogs and water damage. Take some time this season to inspect and clean your gutters and downspouts. Remove any debris, such as leaves and twigs, to ensure proper drainage. This simple task can help protect your home’s foundation, prevent ice dams in winter, and keep your landscaping in good shape. While you’re at it, consider adding gutter guards to make future maintenance easier!

market update
As October begins, the local housing market remains strong despite changing economic conditions. Buyers in lower price ranges should expect competition in desirable areas. Sellers are advised to price their homes competitively to draw more offers. The median home price in Latah County was around $430,000 last quarter, this is consistent with steady year-over-year growth we’ve seen. Although interest rates are high, many buyers are turning to adjustable-rate mortgages or long-term investment strategies. This shift may increase interest in rental properties, giving serious buyers more opportunities. (IMLS STATS 10/10/2024)
